
Hilary Adams is a folk indie artist from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, known for her soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics. She gained national attention with her Christmas single, “Sending Love,” which aired on CBC Radio and resonated with listeners across Canada for its portrayal of spending the holidays away from family.
Her discography includes two singles and an EP, Ophelia, all available on streaming platforms that will have you singing along in no time. Adams has also composed for short films, including her work on WOLF, featured on CBC Gem’s East Coast Reels.
As well as scoring films Adams has written for theatre including Composer and Musical Director credits for A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare BASH’d), Composer for the Fool’s Songs in; King Lear, Two Noble Kingsmen (Shakespeare BASH’d) and Co-Composer for As You Like It (Shakespeare BASH’d). Hilary’s Song “Endless” (from her EP Ophelia) was featured in Shakespeare by the Sea’s 2023 Production of Romeo and Juliet.
Her latest single, “Wildflower: Lakeview Version,” and “Hold Me” were released this past fall and were both featured in the film LAKEVIEW. The film premiered at The Atlantic Film Festival and is now touring the international film festival circuit.
Adams has performed her own music in venues and festivals in Ontario and her debut LP is promising more of her signature storytelling and emotional depth.
